The Troupe

Tommy Nolan as The Dungeon Mashter

Tommy Nolan is a high school theatre teacher by day and musical theatre YouTuber by night (youtube.com/musicalmash). He’s been uncontrollably excited about musical theatre ever since his grandmother gifted him a VHS box set of MGM’s “That’s Entertainment” for his seventh birthday. A fervent musical theatre analyst, Tommy enjoys the entire spectrum of shows – from the golden oldie toe-tappers to newfangled pop-rock pseudo-operas. If he’s not in a theatre or enjoying the latest cast album, you can find him hiking the greater Rocky Mountain trails, playing board games with friends, or belting Merman at the local piano bar.

Emily Clark as Evelyn Forte

Emily Clark is a complete novice to DnD... but she sure knows a lot about old timey musicals! Creator of the web series, Stealing Focus, Emily tackles everything from golden age musicals to gaudy 80's mega-musicals, all with the help of her buddy Gerald, a fuzzy green puppet. Emily is a native and current resident of LA, where she also works as an actor, producer, director, and teacher. If she had to pick her favorite roles and shows, they'd be Annie (Miss Hannigan), Mr. Burns: a post-electric play (Edna, LA Premiere), HAiR (Jeanie), Assassins (Squeaky Fromme), 35MM: A Musical Exhibition (LA Premiere), and Matt and Ben (Matt Damon). Emily can often be found around town hosting and performing in various cabarets, including (Mostly) Musicals and Musical Mondays. Artistic Director of The Unknown Artists, associate company member of Sacred Fools, graduate of UC Santa Cruz and the LA County High School for the Arts.

Christi Esterle as D'syraeah the Magnificent

Christi Esterle is a Colorado native and hopeless musical addict. At various times, she has been or is a librarian, singer, wife, murder mystery dinner theater actress, travel agent, mother, critic, YouTube host, crazy cat lady (not to be confused with a crazy Cats lady), Jeopardy champion, and utter geek. She is on social media more than is healthy, which explains her attitude, and watches a lot of Mystery Science Theater 3000, which explains her humor.

Jesse McAnally as Graygory Highland

Jesse McAnally is a film director (according to Google), actor, YouTuber, songwriter, podcaster, and recent DnD enthusiast. He has been making movies since he was 5, acting out elaborate plots with dolls and forcing his family to watch. We think his recent work is probably more promising. After graduating from Wayne State with a degree in Media Arts and Studies, he decided to return to his high school hobby: sharing his passion for musical theatre with others through a new podcast, Musicals With Cheese, where he teaches a layperson new to the community the ins and outs of being a theatre nerd. When Jess isn’t delighting musical theatre fans the world over with his acumen and dark humor, he works a straight laced, grown up person job at Ford as a Graphic Designer and Video Producer. He is also involved in his community (somewhat involuntarily since his grandmother was the mayor of his town) as a member of the local Historical Society, Arts Council, and has even run for City Council. His favorite thing to do is hang out with his girlfriend and judge the chefs on Chopped for their poor decisions. And even though there’s no Ted Allen in DnD, Jess is happy to be involved anyway.
